Omniguard Communications Software

Omniguard Communications Complete Installers

Below is the complete Omniguard Communications software installer which includes all necessary support files including USB drivers. This software supports the Omniguard III and Omniguard 4.

Omniguard 4 Firmware Updates

Below you will find Omniguard 4 Updater software. This software allows you to update your Omniguard 4 or Omniguard 4 WiFi Adapter firmware (the software that runs in your device) using a PC and the USB cable that came with your Omniguard 4. Included is the latest version of firmware for the original Omniguard 4 as well as the new Omniguard 4 with two USB ports. The software will automatically install the correct version for your Omniguard. This updater does not work with the Omniguard II or III.

To determine which version of firmware your Omniguard 4 is currently running, press the MENU button and select "CONFIGURATION REPORT". The firmware version will be shown on the first line. The firmware version is also shown briefly on the screen each time the unit is turned on.

- Add ability to page through the log using the right and left arrow keys when viewing it on screen. This lets you move through the log twice as fast as scrolling by line.
- If the display is set to the inverted state, make it temporarily right side up while scrolling through the menu, editing, viewing help and starting a new job.
- Make log scanning smarter so that when attempting to view or print the log for the last 24, 48 or 72 hours, the Omniguard won't select the entire job log when the desired date is not found.
- Fix bug that caused the LED and buzzer to continue to indicate an alarm if a new job was started while the Omniguard was in the alarm state.
- Fix bug that caused printing of old job logs to continue past the end of the selected job.
- Fix bug that could cause memory used, memory available and days remaining to be displayed incorrectly in Configuration Report.
- Fix bug that caused state of Alarm Silence to be displayed incorrectly in Configuration Report.
